ZXMoto ZX820RR Launched at Rs 38 Lakh: 818cc Three-Cylinder Supersport Enters Nepal

ZXMoto ZX820RR has been launched in Nepal at an introductory price of Rs 38 lakh, bringing an 818cc three-cylinder supersport motorcycle to the Nepalese market. The introductory price will remain valid until NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026, after which the ZX820RR will be priced at Rs 44 lakh.

The ZX820RR is powered by an 818.8cc three-cylinder, DOHC, 12-valve engine featuring both oil and liquid cooling. The engine produces 132 bhp at 12,000 rpm and 80 Nm of peak torque at 9,500 rpm, with a 13:1 compression ratio and Bosch electronic fuel injection.

The motorcycle measures 2,050 mm in length, 745 mm in width and 1,160 mm in height, with a wheelbase of between 1,419.5 mm and 1,423 mm. It has an 825 mm seat height, 193 kg kerb weight and an 18-litre fuel tank.

The ZX820RR gets a fully adjustable front suspension with preload and damping adjustment, while the rear uses a central monoshock with adjustable preload and damping. ZXMoto has also incorporated an adjustable rake-angle setup, allowing riders to fine-tune the chassis according to riding conditions and preferences.

Braking is handled by 320 mm dual floating discs at the front with four-piston opposed calipers and radial separate-type brake master cylinders. At the rear, the motorcycle gets a 220 mm disc with a two-piston opposed caliper.

The ZX820RR rides on 120/70 ZR17 front and 190/55 ZR17 rear CST S7 tyres, mounted on aluminium alloy wheels measuring 3.5 inches at the front and 6.0 inches at the rear.

Weight reduction has also been a major focus of the motorcycle. The ZX820RR uses a cast aluminium frame, aluminium swingarm and exhaust system, along with magnesium-alloy components and other lightweight construction measures. This helps keep its kerb weight at 193 kg.

The motorcycle also features an adjustable chassis setup, including rake-angle and anti-squat angle adjustments, allowing riders to alter its handling characteristics and riding position depending on the riding environment.

On the racing front, ZXMoto says the 820RR has delivered strong results in the 2026 WorldSSP season, recording five first-place finishes and two fastest laps so far and placing third in the manufacturer standings.

With its three-cylinder engine, 132 bhpoutput, lightweight construction and fully adjustable suspension and chassis, the ZX820RR brings a distinctly performance-focused package to Nepal's premium motorcycle market.

The ZXMoto ZX820RR is priced at Rs 38 lakh as an introductory offer until NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026. Following the expo, its price will increase to Rs 44 lakh.
